You can do this evaluation in parallel with the essay. This is sent to your email.

ESSAY WRITING

This must include your reasons to apply to the master’s program.

INTERVIEW WITH THE DIRECTOR

A personal interview takes place with the director of the master’s or doctoral program. First, you must approve the previous step.

LETTER OF COMMITMENT

You must submit a payment commitment letter duly signed and pay the first installment.

GRADUATE TUITION

CURRICULUM

The Master’s Program in City Management characterizes for its multidisciplinary vison, study and application of disruptive technologies, development of technical and soft skills, and combination of theoretical and practical aspects through workshops and national and international case studies. This program addresses key topics such as governance, economics, finance, planning, law, communication management and soft skills, technology, geographic information systems, public investment, project management, sustainability, household and land policies, mobility, energy and climate change policies, among others, focused on the local urban sphere.

  • Graduates from the Architecture, Urbanism, Engineering, Management, Economics, Sociology, Law, Geography, Policy, Communication, Informatics Undergraduate Programs, among others.
  • Minimum of three (03) years of professional experience in public (preferably) or private institutions.
  • Analysis, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Oral and written skills.
  • Basic computing skills.

  • High-speed Internet connection
  • Laptop with basic programs

  • Non-certified copy of the valid National Identity Card (DNI) or Alien Registration Card (ARC).
  • Non-certified copy of the bachelor’s degree registered in the National Superintendency of University Education (SUNEDU). Not applicable to Ulima graduates.
  • Resume duly signed with passport picture (JPG format, 240x288 pixels, 300 DPI minimum resolution, in front of a plain white background, no eyeglasses).
  • Academic or employment recommendation letter, or one (01) work certificate of the current or last job.
  • Minimum work experience of three (03) years.
  • Payment receipt for tuition fees.
  • Letter of Language Commitment, according to the current University Act.
  • One (01) Statement of Purpose. To be completed in the platform indicated by the Graduate School.
  • Once documents are submitted, the Admission Office will send you an email within 48 hours to pay the application process fees (350 PEN).

GRADUATE PROFILE

City Management Program graduates are able to work in senior and mid-level positions in local, regional, and national public institutions, as well as in business management, academic spaces, multilateral organizations, and CSOs that influence the sustainable urban development. Skills acquired allow them to analyze urban problems with a comprehensive strategic perspective focused on economic, social and environmental aspects, and to innovate in both design and implementation of public urban policies, in order to articulate the interests of different sectors and levels.

Current CEO of Artadi Architects and Professors of Architectural Design Workshop at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas.

BRUCE, Carlos

Master in Territorial Planning and Environmental Management from Universidad de Barcelona (Spain). Economist from Universidad de Lima. Former Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, and congressman of the Republic of Peru. He is the current Mayor of Santiago de Surco district.

NEUHAUS, Carlos

MBA from Southern Methodist University and Master's Degree in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Development Studies Diploma with a major in Public Finance from University of Cambridge. Bachelor's Degree in Administrative Sciences from Universidad de Lima. Former CEO of the Pan-American Games Project and current President at Ingeniería Corporativa SA.

ORREGO, José

Architect from Universidad Ricardo Palma. Core founding member of Peru Green Building Council. He was appointed as commissioner for the Peruvian participation in different editions of the Venice Biennale of Architecture. Current CEO of Metrópolis Oficina de Arquitectura and Director at Patronato Cultural del Perú.
