Obtaining the doctoral or master’s degree is the main objective that drives our students to continue and complete their studies in the programs offered by the Graduate School. Therefore, guidelines are set forth to secure high quality education and ensure that graduates comply with all requirements established for obtaining the academic degree through a thesis or research work.

Requirements for the master’s degree

  • Completed current curriculum of the selected master’s program
  • Proven knowledge of a foreign or native language
  • Approved thesis or research work defense

Requirements for the doctoral degree

  • Completed current curriculum of the selected doctoral program
  • Proven knowledge of two foreign languages, or one foreign language and one native language
  • Approved thesis defense

Created with the purpose of preserving and disseminating scientific, academic, intellectual and cultural production of Ulima Community, as well as technical and scientific documents from interinstitutional agreements. This initiative is part of a set of actions focused on contributing towards the country’s development by using digital tools that facilitate both information access and dissemination.
