Academic Areas
With the aim of providing a well-rounded education in the engineering field and preparing its students for the challenges required by organizations, the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Program is organized into six academic areas as specified below.
Technological Design and Innovation Area
The subjects of this area enable Industrial Engineering students to build solid competencies in the design and development of technological, automated and industrial processes in general, and to acquire skills in the use of tools such as digital fabrication and artificial intelligence.
