The activities of the General Studies Program aim to provide students a basic university culture through: 

• Interdisciplinary and transversal training in which scientific, humanistic and artistic knowledge is integrated. 
• Provision of intellectual, critical, reflexive and technological tools that will enable students to develop independently in their academic life within a global context. 
• Development and stimulation of students’ creative skills, as well as discovery of their strengths. 
• Development of a responsible behavior in students when participating in the university life and commitment to the development of the country, by practicing ethical values as the center of their personal and professional life. 
• Professional vocation and counseling according to students’ abilities and interests.
