Design and fabrication of a thermoforming machine for the San Francisco de Asis School
Design and fabrication of a thermoforming machine for the San Francisco de Asis School
The project consists in designing and making the machine using low-cost materials which can be locally sourced. This machine will later be delivered to the San Francisco de Asis School for children with sight disabilities so that they can fabricate Braille Language teaching material.
Design and fabrication of Braille Reading and writing strips
Design and fabrication of Braille Reading and writing strips
The strips will be manufactured using the Kitamura machining center, and will be delivered to the San Francisco de Asis School in order to improve the fabrication of school material for children with sight disabilities.
Personalized splint fabrication for children with motor disabilities
Personalized splint fabrication for children with motor disabilities
The project will take place together with the San Juan de Dios clinic and consists of scanning the limbs of patients with motor disabilities and then modelling splints made specifically for them. The splints will be manufactured using 3D printing.
Design and fabrication of “stand-ups” for the San Juan de Dios clinic
Design and fabrication of “stand-ups” for the San Juan de Dios clinic
This Project consists of the fabrication and then donation of the stand-up equipment for children who suffer from spina bifida. The stand-ups have been manufactured using the MultiCam 3000.
Design of the prize for the National Short-film and Feature-film contest
Design of the prize for the National Short-film and Feature-film contest
The project was a joined effort between the CIT and the school of communications. The prize was fabricated using 3D printing technologies in the Objet 260 Connex 3.
Design and fabrication of the “En reserva/Undercover” model, which was featured as part of Peru’s pavilion within the Venice Architecture Biennale

Design and fabrication of a high-precision mold for the thermoforming industry
The mold was fabricated with steel in the Kitamura machining center.
Design and fabrication of a book for people with sight disabilities
Design and fabrication of a book for people with sight disabilities
The CIT built a computer program which transforms written language into Braille symbols. The book was then 3D printed using ABS in a Makerbot Replicator 2X. The book currently has 4 pages with exercises which are suitable for children under 5 years of age.
