International Baccalaureate Diploma

Universidad de Lima exempts applicants who hold International Baccalaureate, Abitur, Lyceum or Baccalauréat Diplomas from the admission exam. This admission modality will be valid for a term not greater than three years as from the completion of the International Baccalaureate Program.

Applicants may transfer some courses from the first two academic terms provided that the results achieved are at least as follows:

Courses will be transferred upon completion of the enrollment and the interview considering the table of equivalents and grades obtained. Likewise, counseling will be provided to students for their registration.

If the student has satisfactorily completed the baccalaureate program, Universidad de Lima enables him/her to choose the courses he/she wants to take and to plan his/her schedule. Moreover, the applicant may advance courses and will make no payment for the transferred courses.

Enrollments are performed in February and July of each year.

Requirements for in-person enrollment

  • National Identity Card (DNI). 
  • Original copy of student´s complete academic record issued by the secondary school.
  • Authenticated copy of the student’s International Baccalaureate diploma.
  • Authenticated copy of the student’s International Baccalaureate academic record.
  • Hard copy report of the online pre-enrollment form.

Remarks

  • Minor applicants must submit, at the time of their in-person enrollment, the following document, completed and signed by their legal guardian (please attach a copy of the legal guardian’s ID). Authorization for minors
  • Foreign applicants must submit, as a requirement, the requested documents translated into Spanish by a state certified translator (if necessary), as well as sealed and signed by the Consulate of Peru in the country of origin and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
  • The Ministry of Education of Peru must recognize the secondary studies performed abroad. The applicants must submit the pertaining documents confirming such recognition on the indicated dates.
  • The enrollment fee is S/ 550.00 (Five Hundred Fifty Soles), which must be paid on the same day of the in-person enrollment, after the verification of the documents.
  • The admitted applicants who want to change their program will be able to request it only as from the beginning of the first academic term and on the established dates. In the event that his/her application is approved, the program change will be effective from the next academic term.
